research done on the item they are selling, and have very high
shipping costs. I usually see them sell light items that are cheap
to ship with very high shipping costs. What this means is the
potential buyer figures up how much he/she wants to spend on the
item. He/she figure in the cost to ship the item. So they put a much
smaller bid in to compensate for that. The owner of the item only
makes profit on the item's final selling price. So the buyer loses
out while the chain store makes most of their money from the high
